Gwyn Estember asked:

One good marketing strategy for your business is to put up a product support for your customers. Customer interaction is needed in marketing and promoting sales. You know how important they are in keeping a business. But inorder to keep them loyal, you need to treat them the best way you could. When a customer purchases something, he needs different types of information or support services from the company. Product support is important in achieving customer satisfaction in any market.

Product support or customer support includes free installation, free training of customers, free repair or maintenance and other support you can provide for your customers. These things can dramatically increase your customers and allow you to create new ideas that add to the satisfaction of your customers. Product support can increase your visitors trust, increase customer loyalty and satisfaction and increase conversion rates. Other people may just be only curious to see your product but with the product support you provided, they will learn more information and realize they need your product.

Pretend that you are the customer and you need assistance in operating a new product, isn’t it relieving to have someone to assist you? Most probably you’ll buy again in that store and even tell your friends about it. Your friends will be influenced hearing your good story and your friends will tell their other friends about it too. The word of mouth is viral and traditional but powerful. In the same way you purchase a product and that brand offers a good service too and your happy at the convenience it gives, obviously you’ll buy other thigs with the same brand. If you want to satisfy people and stick with your brand, offer a good product support.

So if you want to succeed in your business, give much importance to customers. Without them you don’t have a business. It’s just simple. But sometimes for some people, customers are considered as nuisance and they are forced to deal with. Remember that customers are key to sales. Repeat business is the game. If you want to edge your competitors offer a customer support that would build customer loyalty.

Ben Brooks asked:

Almost every marketer has heard of lists. It is something that simply can’t escape your notice really, especially with all the fantastic reports of how effective and amazing the results of marketing to a list can be.

People look at lists as cash-cows, just waiting to be milked.

But what is it about lists that make marketers gush about them? Why is it that lists are looked at as one of the ‘ultimate marketing tools’? Most importantly though, why should you start building your own customer list?

These are the kind of questions that baffle most people, and certainly cause a bit of confusion among relative beginners. Sure, we all know that lists can be profitable, but then again, a lot of things on the internet can be profitable too.

Why is it that lists are held in such high esteem compared to all of these other things?

Well, that’s what you’re about to find out. We’re going to dissect lists in general, looking at how they work, where they work, and why they work, until at the end of the day you’ll be able to say for a surety that you understand just why they’re so powerful.

What’s more, over the course of this ‘dissection’, you’ll no doubt find out a lot of useful facts about lists that, well, aren’t really talked about too much.

So not only will this help you realize the full measure of a list’s potential, but it’ll also give you a very solid grounding on lists in general. And, probably more enticingly, it will let you profit fully from lists, the way that ‘gurus’ and experts do.

Needless to say, that’s going to be what you should want to be doing anyway – profiting.

Before we jump into a thorough explanation about the huge benefits of lists though, it would be best to sit down and start thinking about what exactly a customer list is.

“What is a Customer List?”

Okay, a customer list is a really pretty simple concept, and all that it really consists of is a list of customers. That said, there are several other things that you’re going to need as part of your list if you ever want to make it work for you.

If you consider it a little, you’ll realize that having just a list of names isn’t much good at all.

What could you do with a list of names, right? Pretty much just keep it on record that so-and-so bought something from you at some point.

So you’ll need a little more than names for your customer list.

That is why a customer list needs to have contact details. Any kind of contact details. It could be something as simple as a telephone number, fax number, or even house address. Of course on the internet there exist a whole other variety of contact details.

No surprise then that the most common form of contact detail gathered by lists online are email addresses. Naturally, some go one step further, and end up benefiting from a variety of other data.

Twitter, Facebook, Internet Messaging (IM) Services… all of these are valid forms of contact data as well.

Why is it email addresses that are most popular in a customer list then? Well, simply because it is the easiest thing to manage. Admittedly you could, possibly, achieve some kind of results with other online contact details, but it gets a lot tougher when your list expands.

Keeping in touch personally with say, 10 customers, through an IM service would be pretty easy. But keeping in touch with 100, or 1,000, or even 10,000; would be a lot more difficult.

Thankfully, with autoresponders, managing an email-based customer list is made as easy as snapping your fingers (or almost, anyway). Still, it needs work, and as you’ll soon see, there is much more to lists than many people think about.

As you now can see, a customer list is basically just a list with your past customers and their contact details.

“Why Should I Build a Customer List?”

If you had the contact details of your past customers, what good would it do you? When you think about it, you’ll see that all your past customers share at least one thing in common, that you know of anyway.

That one thing is that they’ve bought some product or other from you before.

Okay, so that isn’t exactly a ‘revelation’, but it is important. If a person has bought something from you before, that means they’re interested in the type of product that you’re offering. So, it stands to reason that there is a very high chance that they’ll also be interested in other, related, products.

On top of that, they’ve proven that they’re the kind of people that are willing to buy products of that variety. This is important, especially online, seeing as there are a lot of freebie-seekers around, so finding proven buyers is a definite plus. We’ll discuss this more later though.

For now, you know that, essentially, your previous customers are people that might be interested in buying products related to the one that they bought from you.

Which is why, the simplest and most powerful reason why you should be building a customer list is simply so that you can continue to market to these people. They will form a base for all your further marketing efforts.

Further down the line, we’ll be looking at this in more depth. After all, it is what this book is about.

Right now though, the important thing that you need to take away from this particular section is that keeping in touch with your former customers actually opens up the opportunity for you to continue marketing to them. Which is exactly what list marketing is all about.

Before we get into the more specific details of what exactly you can accomplish with a customer list, we should just go over a few fundamentals of what a good list should have; the kind of list, that is, that you can end up using to your advantage.

Fundamentals of a Customer List

Since you already know what a customer list is, we’re not going to rehash the definition here. Instead, what this is about are the core areas that can affect (and therefore, improve) a customer list.

Some of these will be familiar, as we’ve briefly mentioned a few of them already. Here though, we’re going to be looking at them in a lot more depth.

If you think about each a little, it will help you out. Don’t just take our word for it, try to mull it over yourself and get a better idea of it. As you’ll notice, most everything that we’re going to discuss really does make sense.

Buyers vs. Freebie Seekers

First off, there is a definite difference between buyers and freebie seekers. While that difference may be a psychological difference, as a marketer, the part that you’re really concerned about is how that difference manifests itself.

On the internet especially, there are many freebie seekers. These are people who don’t spend money online, and try to find free alternatives as far as possible.

Admittedly, some don’t spend money for a good reason, such as, not being able to afford to spend on ‘extras’. Others just are convinced that buying things online isn’t safe. Yet others simply feel that they can probably find a free equivalent somewhere or other.

To be honest though, the reasons don’t matter, but chances are, if someone is a freebie-seeker, they aren’t going to end up buying things from you very often. In fact, they may just be on your list because you were offering out a free sample or something in exchange for joining it.

Due to this, differentiating between the freebie-seekers and the real buyers is a big part of what building a good list is about. If you’re building your list solely on past customers whom have actually bought items from you, then you’ll find that you have to worry much less about the number of freebie seekers on your list, as we mentioned previously.

Still, there will undoubtedly be at least some. But really, you’ll find that there are probably other categories other than just these two extremes.

Buyer Categories

Even amongst buyers, there are different types. For example, there are the millionaire buyers, to whom money is not an object and would be willing to buy practically anything as long as it appeals to them.

But unless you’re marketing to this exclusive crowd, chances are most of your buyers will be regular, working Joe’s. Even then, you’ll find that there are various categories of ‘buyers’ in which you can place people.

Some people are impulse buyers who see something, like something, and so they buy it. Very often these type of people don’t really think about whether they really should buy it, they just know that they want it, and so they get it.

On the flipside, there are the more discerning buyers. These are the people who like to dissect everything down and find out if it is really worth their money to buy something. Needless to say, it is tougher to market to them – but if you have a product that is a really good buy, then these are going to be people who are willing to buy it.

Of course there are many other categories, but these are the most common. Yes, it is sort of like stereotyping, but you’ll find that, especially as your list gets bigger, being able to know what products suit which people is really an advantage.

Also, as you’ll find, there are different pricing categories that people tend to go for. Where some people will buy only products around $17 at most, others will be more likely to buy a $97 product than a $17 (because of perceived value).

This too, is beneficial, not because you should try to price the same product differently, of course, but more because you’ll know what interests people more.

And people always appreciate it when you hand them exactly what they want.

Further Contact Details

Earlier, we’d discussed how email really is one of the easiest contact details that you can use on a customer list. While this is true – it certainly doesn’t hurt to have more contact details.

Downside is, it is far easier to get people to fill out just a simple ‘name and email’ form that it is a huge, and large, form. But, if subsequently they’ve been on your list, been buying your products, and generally trust you, then there’s no reason why they wouldn’t be willing to give you more details.

With extra details, you can certainly do more.

Sending greeting cards during seasonal holidays, for example, is something that many companies do to great effect. Although you could, admittedly, send an electronic version through email, it isn’t quite the same thing.

Step by step, you’ll find that the more ways you have to contact people, the more possibilities exist as far as marketing and establishing a rapport with your list is concerned. So yes, it really is beneficial, and brings us to our last fundamental which is…

Keeping in Contact with a Customer List

Seeing as we’ve gone over the various other fundamentals, the only thing really left to talk about is keeping in contact with your customer list. Now, the key to a customer list, as you probably can guess, is that it allows you to have a continuous relationship with your customers.

Mind you, it has to be continuous for it to work. If someone buys something for you, and joins your list, but doesn’t hear from you for a few months, then when he finally does, there is little chance that he or she will even remember about it.

So it will appear as just a random advertisement, rather than the recommendation based on their previous purchase that you want it to be.

But remember, too much contact is just as bad as too little. If a customer buys something for you and gets 10 emails in the span of a few days, that will probably just end up annoying them, and is a good way to get them to ignore your marketing efforts completely.

At the end of the day, the aim is to toe the line between keeping in contact, and too much contact. An email or two a week is perfectly acceptable, and in some cases, even daily emails can work.

As things go along, you’ll find out what your list responds best to, but for now, just keep it in mind and don’t make any ‘extreme’ mistakes.

When you do have a list, you want to ensure that you can maintain it properly, and keep the trust that your subscribers have in you. Which is why it is crucial for them to not feel like you’re just trying to take advantage of them for a quick buck here and there.

In order to avoid that, make sure that you don’t just keep marketing products to them, but rather send them helpful freebies, and information, in between your marketing efforts. That way, they’ll actually have a really good reason to stick around and see what you have to offer.

Plus, they’ll also know that you’re the kind of person who knows what he’s talking about, in whatever niche you’re in, and can impart the kind of knowledge that they could use to their own advantage.

Summing Up the Fundamentals

Although you might be wondering why we digressed slightly from what we’re supposed to be talking about (which is why you should build a customer list), let me explain.

Building just any customer list is really, well, not going to get you the kind of results that you want. What you need is to build the right kind of customer list, and for that, you need the fundamentals that we just discussed.

In other words, you need to make sure that you have buyers on your list, and not just freebieseekers. You also need to be certain that you know their habits, and the categories in which they fall in.

On top of that, having the ability to contact them in a number of ways, and then, keeping in contact constantly – these are the kinds of things that will get you that ‘right’ kind of list.

And armed with that kind of customer list, well, you could do a whole variety of things that may have never even crossed your mind prior to this. In short, a list does represent an enormous potential to market products, but the ‘right’ kind of list is so much more than that.

It is, really, completely priceless.

Kevin Kielty asked:

Tips for Starting a New Online Business

One of the biggest mistakes that many businesses online and offline make is that they do not have a plan for success. Even though it is an online business, you should still have a business plan and you should have a search marketing strategy and know that you are targeting a large enough market. You should do searches online on Google, and Yahoo, and MSN, and see which of your competitors come up for that search term.

You should also do some market research analysis so that you know which search terms people are searching for the most. Some search terms might only produce a couple, 10 or 20 searches a day, and other search terms might have several thousand a day. You will need a big enough market to target because you will be sharing that market with your competitors.

What it all comes down to in the end is that you have about 10 or 20 competitors on the front page of Google, Yahoo and MSN. You need to do the following well, to compete with these competitors.

1. Your website needs to have a better presentation than your competitors. This means a more engaging demonstration of the products and services you sell.

2. You need to come up as high as possible in the search engines either through search engine marketing or paid sponsored ads also known as pay-per-click.

3. Optimize your website so that search engines can find you organically. This is also known as search engine optimization.

Common Mistakes Beginners Make

1. They start targeting and promoting keywords before they know the value of the keywords they are promoting.

2. When using pay-per-click advertising, they direct everyone to the front page of their website. As much as possible, direct your ads to a detailed web page which matches up to your prospective customers search term.

Tips for a Successful Online Advertising Campaign

1. Have a customized landing page, which takes the prospective customer to the exact product, or service page for which they are searching.

2. To have a cost effective online marketing strategy there needs to be enough people searching for your product or service.

For example, if someone is searching for a particular type of guitar, your ad should feature that particular type of guitar. The more specific you are and the less searching the perspective customer has to do once they get to your web page, the more likely they are to contact you, buy your product, or take the action you want them to take.

You will need to research which search terms or keywords are searched on more frequently than other search terms so that you can make sure that you have the largest audience possible. You can do this using Google’s keyword tool. Doing just this small amount of market research can make the difference between success or failure of your online business venture.

For example, if you’re selling Widget A and there’s only ten people a day in your area searching for Widget A, you are not going to be very successful. If however, there are 100,000 people a day searching for a Widget A and you only have two competitors who also sell Widget A, then there is room for you in that market.

Google’s Keyword Tool and How to Use it

The first place to start with researching your keywords is the Google keyword tool, found here: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal. Below are some useful features of Google’s keyword tool:

1. You can enter various phrases describing your businesses products or services into the search box. The tool will give you results on different phrases and synonyms matching your description. It will also tell you which search terms produce the largest amount of traffic on a monthly basis.

2. If you are targeting the entire United States then the monthly traffic column per keyword is very accurate. If you are targeting a particular state within the United States then you would need to divide that number by the percentage of population in that state.

3. Google’s keyword tool also has a column that indicates the average cost per click for each search term. This can be helpful for forecasting how much to price your product or service. For example, if you are selling something for $10.00 and it costs you $10.00 to get enough people to your website before anyone buys your product then you need to rethink your pricing model. If however, your product sells for $20.00 and it only costs you $5.00 in advertising before someone buys your product, then you have a cost effective marketing campaign.

Other Search Engine Marketing Strategies

In addition to pay-per-click, you can pursue search engine marketing techniques such as:

1. Article Marketing

2. Directory Marketing

3. Community Forum Marketing

4. Channel Partner Marketing

The goal of all of these marketing techniques is to get a higher search engine ranking for the search terms you are targeting. All of the methods above include backlinks to your website. Backlinks to your website is the number one criteria used by search engines to rank your website.

Online Market Penetration

After you have done your market research, the next thing you will want to do is to determine if it is a growing market.

One of the ways you can discover if you are in a growing market is by using Google Trends. When using Google Trends, enter a search term which describes your business or industry into the search box and view the trend line in the results. If the trend line is moving up then you are in a growing market. If the trend line is moving down, then you are in a declining market. This will give you a good indication if it would be worthwhile for you to launch your business.

Another way to tell if there is room for you in a particular market is to look at your online competitors. Often times if their websites have not been updated in a while, it can indicate they are doing a good business. Also, if you have to scroll down to the second or third page of the search results before you find a decent looking web page, that can indicate a large market.

If you want a successful online business, follow these steps: Do the market research, do a competitive analysis and research the market trends for your industry, then you will be successful in your new online business.

Sortins Technologies asked:

That’s right, with the power of the Online World to reach millions of people, Online Marketing is definitely an awesome tool that no business should be without. Just because of the simple fact alone that advertising is practically FREE. The ability to get the results of thousands of dollars in free publicity is practically unheard of in business today. Only recently have more and more people figured out how to utilize the ever exploding Online World to market their business efforts.

Think about it, there is probably no business in existence that could not benefit from free publicity! And the fact that properly utilizing free advertising raises net profits to unbelievable levels! Using any or all of the major online services, or the INTERNET, can help you market your business efforts.

Let’s start with plain-old advertising. On America Online, for example, they will let you place classified advertisements for FREE! They have a variety of classifications to choose from. By placing these small free ads you can generate some very quality leads that can turn into sales. Or if you are a really good marketer you could sell something straight from your free ad. Wouldn’t that be something, using the actual free ad to do all of the selling.

The other services offer free advertising from time to time. When they do charge for classified ads it is usually very inexpensive, and still a great deal considering how many people those ads can reach. When you place any advertisements you should always “code” your ads. This means put something in each individual ad that will tell you, if you get any business from it, which ad it came from. This way, you will probably find that some sections are better producers than others, and you will want to concentrate on these sections and not the ones that weren’t making any money.

To code an ad you could make them request a certain “report” on more information. You should give each report a different code for each ad. Such as: “ask for report #1tv” , this way you would know that this request came from the ad in the televisions for sale category, and so forth. If they send you an order straight from the ad, make them give you an order #, which would be different for each ad. THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WHO ARE ADVERTISING ONLINE ARE NOT USING THESE AD CODES!!! THIS IS A MAJOR MARKETING MISTAKE!!!

By not tracking exactly which ads are making money, they are wasting their time by continually placing ads in “loser” categories. The actual code can be anything you want to assign to it. ALWAYS keep track of every ad you place. Make a note of what it said, where and when it was placed. You will be pleasantly surprised when you analyze your “ad data” and see some positive trends developing. Just repeat these trends and it will help you to make more money!

How would you like to find a name list of several hundred (or even thousand) people who might be interested in the particular product or service you are selling based on their jobs or interests? Wouldn’t that be great!? Well, you can! And the Online Services supply this service as a part of your regular membership.

This little unknown tool is called the “Member Directory!” You can do searches in the directory for other users with certain characteristics. For example, if you were selling fishing equipment, you could do a search by “fishing.” All of the people that were registered in the directory and had listed fishing as one of their hobbies would show up on that search list. You could now send each one of those people an e-mail message telling them about your product or service, it’s just like using a mailing list, but you have no postage! (*Make sure you check with your Online service to see if they allow unsolicited E-mail.)

You can also get the names of several prospects by doing some “browsing” in the different topic forums. Using the earlier example of looking for people who fish, you could look under sports until you found a discussion on fishing. You could then take note of the users’ names that were participating in the discussions. You could do the same thing on the INTERNET with one of the many newsgroup topics that they have.

The bottom line is that you “test” and record the results of your Online Marketing efforts. Then just repeat the steps that are making you money and expand on them to reach more people.

Doing simple research on the Internet. The Internet has several mailing lists that are dedicated to marketing on the Internet. You will also find hundreds of articles on the World Wide Web. By searching one of the WWW search engines like Webcrawler you can find all the information you can read. Use search strings such as: “online marketing”,”internet advertising”, “selling online”, and so on.

You can also find many books on the subject at your local bookstore or being advertised online.

Internet Information asked:

Beth Davis may not have the whole world in her hand, but she holds a key to a very lucrative career. And yes, the key to her success really does lie in the palm of a hand.

That is because Beth cleverly morphed what started out as a mere hobby – hand reading – into a profitable Internet- based information marketing business.

Beth is featured, along with other successful, self-employed entrepreneurs, in a new book, “The Official Get Rich Guide to Information Marketing on the Internet” by Robert Skrob and Bob Regnerus. The book, out in September 2008, is the sequel to last year’s “The Official Get Rich Guide to Information Marketing.”

Like many successful info-marketers, Beth was driven by a professional setback. She started out in the corporate world of marketing, but became disillusioned with the lack of long-term prospects for growth. “One day, my boss told me I’d be lucky to make $40,000 a year in five years,” Beth says. “That was all the motivation I needed to start my own business.”

Though Beth was at first skeptical about palm reading, a friend convinced her to give it a try. What followed was a revelation. “This woman read my hands and predicted I would be a successful business owner who inspires the masses,” Beth recalls.

Inspired by the hand reading, Beth began teaching hand analysis by phone in 2002. Money started to roll in, and a number of people Beth coached went on to become professional hand analysts themselves.

But as Beth continued to grow her business, she realized there was one thing missing. That “thing” was a strong Internet presence. “I knew I had to take my website from a floating brochure to another revenue stream for my business,” Beth says.

That was the right decision, Skrob notes because “when businesspeople and consumers want information, they go to the Internet first.”

Beth began sending plain text emails to her list of 600 people. In return, she got registrations for her tele-classes, workshops and a coaching program, which she sold at the end of hand-reading sessions. “I never advertised it, but within six to eight months, I had a full practice.”

But not so full that there wasn’t any room for improvement. In 2005, Beth signed up for the “Online Success Blueprint Workshop,” by a very successful Internet info-marketer Alexandria Brown. “I pretty much implemented everything she told me to do,” Beth reports.

One of these “must-do’s” was a killer website, which, Skrob stresses, “is a basic requirement for an Internet marketer. A well-structured and focused website that attracts, rather than repels, visitors is very important.”

So Beth hired a web designer to build her new website, HandAnalyst.com, targeting women clients. Her first product was a $247 home study program called “5 Proven Steps to Bring More Health, Love and Money into Your Life,” which teaches people the benefits of analyzing their own hands. “The title encompasses all of the responses to the survey I had sent out to my list, to see what my customers were interested in most,” she says.

Beth’s Internet-based information marketing business is booming because she took an idea and built a great website to promote it, one that inspires the visitors to buy her products. “When your sales prospects opt in on your landing page, they become your sales leads,” Skrob notes. “The next step is the sales process. The Internet gives you more options for presenting your sales materials.”

The book outlines five specific tasks that every web-based sales presentation must accomplish – techniques that Beth has mastered, allowing her to rake in big bucks.

But the answer to a successful info-marketing venture is not just in the palm of your hand. Says Skrob: “If you’re ready to take advantage of the unique opportunities the Internet provides to information marketers, this book tells you everything you need to know.”

Przemyslaw Prokpow asked:

Online Marketing

To keep up with the changing times, business companies today look into multiple options for reaching and communicating with customers. One popular option is the internet, which has primarily become the medium for tapping potential clients across the globe.

While at the beginning, online marketing was considered incomprehensible and too unpredictable, today, a growing number of marketers are developing their online marketing programs. It is growing at an extremely dramatic pace and is affecting customers and market behaviors significantly. As a result, firms have now started developing strategies for e-marketing on the web.

Japan as a Role Model

Japan, as everybody knows is an economically stable and technologically advanced country. It is one of the leading countries of the world with the largest number of online users. The acceptance of the online business in Japan is crucial to companies who continue to increase and develop their marketing efforts online with the objective of securing shopping channels online and building consumer relationships. That’s why there is a sudden increase of Japanese web developing companies that offer the best graphic online design.

A rapid growth of internet users in Japan has been seen in the past few years. The percentage of Japanese households using broadband is growing to over 70% by the year. Japan had over 20 million broadband lines in place and is continuously growing, making it one of the largest broadband countries worldwide, next to China and USA.

However, to be on the frontline of online marketing, Japan has effectively adopted an online marketing approach. They are moving ahead by blending a mix of solutions to spread their message to the audience. Thus, employing the best online marketing expert of Japan is the wisest choice.

Professional graphic designers in Japan know that building a website isn’t enough – to maximize and make the most of your online investment, one must drive and convert online site traffic. There are so many options on how to promote your site – from email marketing and search engine placements to viral marketing and affiliate programs. It may seem confusing on how one chooses over the other.

Every company’s needs are different and unique to one another, so there is no ultimate strategy that fits the bill perfectly. Therefore, every professional Japanese graphic designer is more involved and focused on delivering design, e-business strategy solutions and web technology development.

Through a steady journey through feedback and fine-tuning, Japanese online marketers adjust and monitor their plan in taking full advantage of the emerging technology, which is an internet marketing hallmark. By analyzing company-specific objectives in regards to online marketing, it will help break through the ideas and clutter and offer creative and unique solutions to maintain and attract your target audience. Online marketing should support your requirements even after you have developed your customer loyalty and brand identity, following through follow-up email marketing and campaigns.

A bright future for Japanese online marketing is evident in the rapid growth of their followers. Where technology is not a stranger, Japan welcomes the change that online marketing has brought.

Internet Information asked:

Once upon a time, there was a kingdom ruled by five cool kings who reigned in peace and harmony. The kings, whose names are Salutation, Presentation, Consummation, Perseverance, and Enticement, live in a wilderness filled with wanderers, each one seeking the proverbial pot of gold.

The role of the kings is to guide these wanderers in their quest, because as the visitors get rich, so does the kingdom. The twist is that these monarchs do not live in a fairy-tale, but in a fact-based new book that shows current and would-be information marketers how to launch lucrative businesses on the Internet. So what’s the deal?

The kings’ story, says Robert Skrob, co-author with Bob Regnerus of “The Official Get Rich Guide to Information Marketing on the Internet,” is a parable. “The kingdom is actually a website, and the surrounding wilderness is the cyberspace,” Skrob says. “Every wanderer who passes by is a potential customer, and the kings represent the five steps of the marketing process. Just as they have to work together without getting in each other’s way, an info-marketer has to include all five steps in the marketing campaign, and follow these steps in proper order.”

Thus, King Salutation is the first to greet and welcome visitors to the kingdom. His job description, Skrob explains, is “to make people feel comfortable, and not frighten them away by asking too many questions. And, he doesn’t force the visitors to listen to the kingdom’s entire history, but, rather, describes it with a few choice words.”

Once the visitors ascertain that they have entered the kingdom that is right for them, Salutation helps them over the border and leaves them in the capable hands of his co-king, Presentation, the kingdom’s official tour guide. “He is a masterful speaker, capturing the imagination of his visitors,” Skrob explains.

“He also knows how to point uncertain visitors in the right direction, convincing them they can achieve all their get-rich goals right there in the kingdom. And, he can even motivate the visitors to remain in the kingdom with small gifts and other incentives.” The visitor is then passed on to Consummation, who shows them how to exchange their gold for the objects they seek. He keeps the eager travelers – those who went through two previous kings, as well as those who impatiently scaled the wall to get directly to him – on the right track. “His job is to provide all the information the visitors need to successfully complete their journeys,”

Skrob notes. Perseverance’s job is more laid-back, but very important nonetheless: to follow the visitors who depart from the kingdom without leaving any of their gold behind, making sure they know they’re always welcome back. He keeps in touch with them with frequent messages and “knows how to be persistent without being a nuisance,” Skrob says. The fifth king, Enticement, has the most difficult job of all: he roams the wilderness looking for the specific kind of visitors who are most likely to be lured into the kingdom.

“These people may not know of the kingdom’s existence, so they wander aimlessly looking for someone to show them the way,” Skrob says. “So Enticement hires agents who search for wanderers the king wouldn’t be able to find by himself. These agents send the lost visitors back to the realm of five kings.” This parable, which highlights the importance of a well-structured and focused website that attracts, rather than repels, visitors is featured in the book, released in September 2008 as a sequel to last year’s

“The Official Get Rich Guide to Information Marketing.” “Both books feature profiles of people who became extraordinarily successful on the Internet,” says Skrob, president of the Tallahassee, FL-based Information Marketing Association. “When you use a website to market your product, you can make sales anywhere, at any time, without lifting a finger. There’s no question that, for any info-marketer, Internet is a great way to make lots of money.” And, once info-marketers follow the five kings, they will all live happily ever after.

Brad with Online Income Job Replacer asked:

If you ever thought about or actually tried marketing online and have already started. Something you probably found out is that its not easy to determine the best way to actually pre-sell your potential customers and or clients. Many people fall into the trap of writing bogus product reviews and the don’t actually use or in reality have no clue about. One reason they do this is that it works. Web surfers come in and see the fake review and take action. Unfortunately its not real; its basically false advertising and now a days the fcc is frowning on it.

The OIJR method is to write honest reviews or comparisons of product’s and or services. While its more work initially it is a great way to build customer loyalty and a tremendous amount of followers, who you can market to again and again. Rather then purchase something for you based on a false review of something that may or may not work. You offer a honest review and your customers will really appreciate that reward you by coming back again and again and telling there own friends and family, which is the best most cost effective form of marketing you can get. So take the high road and you will build a customer base that you will be able to market to over and over for many years to come. Many people neglect to do this as far as building a customer base but it is a absolute necessity in this day and age. If you have a captive audience you can capture or build a list out of its important to keep them happy and show them exactly how you can help them.

Either through email marketing or having them come back to your website periodically for what you offer. There are different ways to to make a online income and they are not always clear, in fact sometimes they are down right murky, and that’s due to the fact that the Internet is really still in its infancy and really its still like the wild wild west where you have people running around like crazy who try and influence others to take the low and easy road through forum and blog posts and if you new you can be very susceptible to this.

And oh sure initially it is easier throw a lie out there and see if can get some one to believe it telling or saying any hyped up thing about the product they are selling. But here at OIJR we firmly believe in the high road. If you notice in our Review section we offer honest reviews only of people we know and trust that will steer you to take the high road and do the right thing and build your business on a rock not the sand so you will have a solid foundation for years to come. The truth will set you free and that’s really what we are talking about is telling people the truth and they will know instantly that you are genuine in what you have to say and offer. Best of luck online. But it all begins by taking the high road and genuinely helping people out with a honest approach that they will appreciate years and years to come.

-til next time

Brad

OnlineIncomeJobReplacer.com
